APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A Prolem Management Report (PMR) was created by the
PureApplication System CallHome function. The event XML file was
uploaded to the PMR. The collection set for the system was
created but never made it into the PMR system.

The timeout value for the file upload was too small.

Local fix

  • The files can be manually uploaded to the Enhanced Customer Data
Repository (EcuRep) using the PMR number.

Problem summary

  • The file upload timeout would occur when the function was
invoked via command line interface function and worked correctly
if upload was called via the REST API.

Problem conclusion

  • An update is being provided in PureApplication System version
2.0.0.1 so that the upload is handled using the same code path.

Temporary fix
