APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the VMware license keys were updated with the wrong license
key and the job failed the state is marked as "unavailable".

The state stays "unavailable" and is not changing to
"available" after the hypervisor keys are updated with the
correct license keys and the update job succeeds.

Local fix

  • The REST API may be used to change the state of the VMware
license. Contact IBM to have this corrected using the REST API.

Problem summary

  • The license update case was not being handled corrctly to
set the VMware license back to the available state.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is being provided in PureApplication System version
2.0.0.1 that performs an availability state update.
