Error description

  • After a system upgrade to PureApplication System V2.0.0.0
deployments that use the IBM OS Image for AIX System fail to
deploy. This includes virtual application patterns, virtual
system patterns and shared services.

Error that may be seen in the log files:
DNZLOP899I Storage copy services is unable to copy one or more
disks using the FlashCopy function.

Problem summary


    

  • A problem in the virtual Flex System Manager (FSM) image being
used on the system caused this image issue to occur.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • An updated virtual FSM image is being provided in
PureApplication System version 2.0.0.1 to solve this issue.
