APAR status

Error description

  • Users may not be able to add storage volumes to virtual
    machines after creating a storage volume.
    
    Example: User creates vm_vmname_disk_1  through System Console >
    Cloud > Storage Volumes.
    
    When attempting to add this volume to a virtual machine through
    Workload Console > Instance > Virtual Machine
    
    
    the volume does not appear in the "Add more..." drop-down list.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • There was a problem in the code identifying available storage
    to populate the user interface pulldown.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is being provided in PureApplication System version
    2.0.0.1 that retrieves available storage and makes it available
    in the user interface.
