APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Due to an unsupported user modification a default event
integration facility (EIF) destination of 000 was set in the
HubTEMS. That default EIF destination overrides the destinations
that were set via the user interface and rendered them useless.

Local fix

  • Only use the IBM PureApplication System Monitoring Portal
user interface to set the EIF destinations.

Problem summary

  • The default EIF destination overrides the configured
destinations.

Problem conclusion

  • The event forwarding code now checks for a default EIF and
clears it.
