  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During system test a pattern type created by an IBM content
provider was imported into the system. Although the
pattern was designed to run on IBM PureApplication system it
contained an invalid licensing type specified in the TGZ file.

The import failed but resulted in an invalid entry created in
    the system product licensing information.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The invalid license was being written to the product license
database before it was being validated.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been updated to check the license type during
the import and use it if it is valid. If the license type is not
valid it will be changed to a PVU license type.
