  • The message
    
    CWZIP6078W The management node is not healthy on high
    availability
    
    may be observed in the event log of the IBM PureApplication
    System even though all other indications show that the system
    status is green and High Availability in the system is normal.
    
    This may be accompanied by messages CWZIP1140 or CWZIP1139,
    indicating that the virtual management system has been
    powered off and on.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The code associated with checking high availability needed to be
    enhanced to detect when a process was killed and we need to
    try a restart.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been added to detect when a process was killed and to
    retry starting the virtualization management system.
