requirements,  there should be no risk of exceeding the limit.

Problem summary


    

  • The Storewize V7000 system is configured for thin provisioning
on certain volumes and only provisions storage as needed. The
storage space warning message is coming from the V7000 subsystem
which assumes that the total storage is being allocated.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The warning message is only useful during an actual
over-allocation of storage and is being disabled in this
scenario.
