Error description

  • If two similarly named virtual images exist, for example
    "name": "WebSphere Application Server 7.0.0.27 64-bit RHEL 6
    x86_64 (VMWare)" and "name": "IBM WebSphere Application Server
    7.0.0.27 64-bit RHEL 6 (VMWare) with IMP Enabled" pattern import
    will fail with the following stack:

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The virtual image pattern matching code used to find the correct
    virtual image on the system should use the both the name and the
    image build number on a first pass to identify the correct
    image, if it is not found it should then use just the name.
