Error description
If two similarly named virtual images exist, for example "name": "WebSphere Application Server 7.0.0.27 64-bit RHEL 6 x86_64 (VMWare)" and "name": "IBM WebSphere Application Server 7.0.0.27 64-bit RHEL 6 (VMWare) with IMP Enabled" pattern import will fail with the following stack: Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\pure.cli\lib\1.1.0.1-201310211848151\deployer\patternloader. py", line 729, in JSONtoPattern obj = _findVirtualImage(virtuaImage, dest) File "C:\pure.cli\lib\1.1.0.1-201310211848151\deployer\patternloader. py", line 205, in _findVirtualImage assert len(matches) == 1 and matches[0].name == name, utils.utos (message('IWD00023') % (name)) AssertionError: No virtual image named "WebSphere Application Server 7.0.0.27 64-bit RHEL 6 x86_64 (VMWare)" is defined.
Local fix
Problem summary
The virtual image pattern matching code used to find the correct virtual image on the system should use the both the name and the image build number on a first pass to identify the correct image, if it is not found it should then use just the name.
