Error description
User initiated a stress test in which 27 virtual system deployments were initiated at once. After about 4 hours 26 has completed and the 27th had timed out. Investigation found that the nightly backup job was kicked off around the time of the last deployment. The performance degradation was due to the job queue getting temporarily hung and the virtual system deployment timed out.
Local fix
Problem summary
The backup nightly task should wait until priority jobs have comepleted before starting. A task queue priority check and a task delay until priority jobs complete should be implemented.
Problem conclusion
Code has been implemented to wait for priority tasks to complete for lower priority tasks.
