IT00170: STARTING WITH IBM PUREAPPLICATION SYSTEMS VERSION 1.1.0.2 NEW LDAP USER ACCOUNT IDS ADDED WILL MATCH THE LDAP CONTENTS

Error description

• Prior to version 1.1.0.2 LDAP user IDs match user inputs when
  LDAP user accounts are added. User IDs entered do not
  necessarily match the value that is defined by the LDAP user
  search attribute. As a result duplicate LDAP user accounts may
  be added in PureApplication System for the same LDAP user.
  This changes with IT00170.
  
  In version 1.1.0.2 LDAP user IDs added to PureApplication System
  will match the case exactly as the value specified by the LDAP
  user search attribute. The goal is to add no more than one LDAP
  user account per LDAP user. For backwards compatibility LDAP
  user IDs that have already been added to PureApplication System
  prior to the 1.1.0.2 upgrade will not be changed and their cases
  can be different from the corresponding attribute in the LDAP
  server. In other words, there may be one or more user accounts
  for the same LDAP user if those user accounts were added prior
  to version 1.1.0.2.
  
  To login to the PureApplication System users must enter user IDs
  whose case exactly matches the user account IDs.

• Code has been implemented to start treating new LDAP IDs as
  case sensitive.
