  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A user has two compute nodes in a cloud group with high
availability enabled, then adds a third compute node. The user
then put one of the original compute nodes in quiesce mode, then
in maintenance mode. All virtual machines except one was
    evacuated.

A node should not be able to be put in maintenance mode with a
virtual machine still running on it.

Local fix

Problem summary

instances have been evacuated prior to allowing a change to
    mainetnance mode.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been updated to check for the presence of
running virtual machine instances after evacuation.
