Error description
During system test negative path testing there were cases where multiple deletes were issued against the same virtual application instance. Log investigation shows that there were first failure data capture (FFDC) errors appearing in the logs: ClientAuthenticationException: Service failed to authenticate; returned 401 com.ibm.maestro.kernel.services.Deployer 3999 Exception = org.apache.wink.client.ClientAuthenticationException ... Stack Dump = org.apache.wink.client.ClientAuthenticationException: Service failed to authenticate; returned 401
Local fix
Problem summary
Authorization errors were being thrown within the client REST API call being used in the delete operation because a method in the code was using the wrong client security context.
Problem conclusion
The code has been updated to use the correct client security context.
