APAR status

Error description

  • When a network interface card (NIC) is added to an extended
image the captured OVF file contains an extra NIC entry.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Extend the IBM OS Image for RedHat Linux, it has only one
   NIC in the OVF.
2. Using the System Console, add another NIC to the extended
   image virtual machine.
3. Capture the image.

This results in an OVF file that has three NICs defined.
