Error description

  • When using LDAP authentication, if you change the
administrator's password while the administrator ID is being
used for a system upgrade, the upgrade may fail.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • System upgrade installation code checked for number of
permissions assigned to admin user and if not what was expected
would throw an exception, halting the upgrade.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Upgrade process is modified to report the discrepency, but not
halt the upgrade process.
