APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During system test the disaster recovery function was enabled,
    disabled, and then enabled again in a short time period.
    
    Using the System Console navigate to  System > Disaster
    Recovery. Select a disaster recovery profile. The tester
    noticed that the disk replication status values were not being
    updated.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The problem was caused by the way recurring jobs are processed
    when the disaster recovery code is enabled and disabled.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Code has been added to properly handle the recurring jobs when
    disaster recovery is enabled and disabled within a short time
    interval.
