  • Recurring events are being generated from the Top of Rack
Switches:
CWZIP2310W The value of last_boot_time has been changed on
switch TopOfRack2. Old value:null New value:Wed Oct 09 18:47:50

Local fix

  • Messages can be ignored.

Problem summary

  • Top of rack switch last_boot_time is not being stored in the
PureApplication System's management database, resulting in
recurring CWZIP2310W messages:

Problem conclusion

  • Top of Rack status query job is updated to only generate the
warning event if the current value returned from the switch
does not match what is in the management database and add the
switch's last_boot_time to the management database.
