APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During system test the user noticed that the System Console had
an option to create a storage volume and they could set the type
to RAW.

Using the command line interface, the admin.volumes.create
operation did not have a type parameter.

Local fix

  • Use the System Console to create the RAW type volumes.

Problem summary

  • The command line interface admin.volumes.create object had not
been updated to recognize the type parameter.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been updated to use the type parameter.
