APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • During system test a WebSphere Application Server version 8.5
virtual system pattern was deployed. The deployment was
successful but the health status displayed in the detail panel
was:

Running but with error (Workload agent failure)

The error in the virtual machine logs is:
WASX7011E: Cannot find file
"/0config/nodepkgs/common/scripts/itcamwas/detectWAS.py"

Further investigation lead to the fact that the System
Monitoring pattern type had not been enabled on the system.

Problem summary


    

  • There is an unintended dependency that was created between the
WebSphere virtual system and the System Monitoring code.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code has been updated to eliminate the dependency.
