Error description

  • If you create a virtual application pattern with database
component and give the database size as 500GB, when you deploy
this web application pattern, you will see the error:
"Unsatisfied requirement: requested disk size is 501GB; the
maximum allowable disk size is 500GB"

Problem summary


    

  • The virtual application DB2 component included a hard coded
deploy-time check for database size > 500.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The DB2 virtual application plugin is modified to check space
available for the database based on disk space available in the
base OS image used for deployment.
