Error description

  • The system reported exceptions while registering virtual
machines during a disaster recovery failover operation. This
caused the failover to be interrupted.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • There was inadequate recovery and retry logic in the disaster
recovery virtual machine registration code.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Appropriate error checking, retry logic, and error reporting
logic has been added to the disaster recovery virtual machine
registration code. The disaster recovery failover now completes
without error or reports appropriate error events.
