IC95761: GENERATING A SELF-SIGNED CERTIFICATE FOR THE BACKUP OPERATION DOES NOT THROW AN ERROR WHEN AN INVALID PASSWORD IS PROVIDED

Error description

  • User navigates to the System Console and uses the System >
    Settings > System Backup and Restore option. In Step 2,
    generate a self-signed certificate and key pair using an
    existing private key. It appears to work when an invalid
    password is provided. The certificate displays a new timestamp
    which adds to the appearance that the operation worked.
