• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The system shutdown though System Console > System > Settings >
  Power > Shutdown system did not shutdown the PureSystem Manager
  due to an exception:
  
  CWPZC0011E: An unhandled error was caught;
   message: [pdq][0][2.7.116] CWPZC9021E: <Local transaction: xxx>
   failed; Caused by:
   com.ibm.db2.jcc.am.DisconnectNonTransientConnectionException:
   [jcc][t4][2030][11211][3.64.106] A communication error occurred
   during operations on the connection's underlying socket, socket
   input stream, or socket output stream.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• The PureSystem Manager was not getting shutdown during the
  system shutdown due to an exception being thrown by a database
  call after the database was already shutdown.
  

Problem conclusion

• The exception condition is now handled so that the system
  shutdown process can continue.
