IC94949: "DEFAULT ADD NFS" ADD-ON FAILED DURING A NEW VIRTUAL SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The customer created a virtual system pattern that includes the
  "Default Add NFS" add-on which is new with PureApplicaton
  System  version 1.1. When they deployed the pattern it looked
  successful but in the Virtual System Instances > History
  section of the Workload Console there was an error "Script
  package Default add NFS on virtual machine xxxx failed
  execution".  Expanding the Virtual machines section also
  revealed a red exclamation mark in the Script Packages.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• A coding error was found in the NFS add-on script package which
  references an undefined variable when exiting the script.
  

Problem conclusion

• The coding error has been corrected.
