APAR status

Error description

  • Using the System Console navigate to System > Customer Network
    Configuration. Expamd the Network section and scroll down to the
    Link Configuration section. Select a link configuration
    and then click Edit. On the Advanced tab uncheck all the Storm
    Control options.
    
    The problem is that the default values provided for storm
    control options are used even when the checkbox has been
    unchecked.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The default storm control values were being used even when the
    storm control option checkbox was unchecked because the boolean
    checkbox value was not being used.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been updated to check the checkbox boolean value
    before setting the storm control value.
