Error description

  • MustGather script has excessive retry cycle with timeout set to
approximately three hours.

There is no functional impact as this script runs last and the
deployed VM is already available.

However, there is no need to retry for so long and it may cause
confusion over whether or not the VM is yet available.

Problem summary


    

  • The 3 hour timeout was due to excessive connection retries and
the sleep intervals between the retries.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The retries have been decreased and the code improved to check
the connection utility return codes to break out of the retry
cycle under certain conditions.
