PM69447: WMQ FTE: PROPERTIES PASSED TO AN ANT CALL ARE NOT DISPLAYED IN THE AUDIT RECORD

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A transfer is submitted with a postSourceCall coded in a
    transfer definition file. The properties passed to the Ant
    call should be displayed within a 'property' tag in the
    TransferLog.xml associated with the transfer. The information
    is needed to reconstruct a failed transfer and submit it in its
    entirety.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
    Audit messages containing a preSourceCall, postSourceCall,
    preDestinationCall, or postDestinationCall did not contain the
    properties and targets for a command of 'antcommand' type.

    For example, a call to an Ant script named 'myAntScript.xml'
    with property 'myProperty=value' defined and target 'myTarget'
    defined would result in the following audit XML:

    <postSourceCall>
    <command name="bob.xml" retryCount="0" retryWait="0"
    successRC="0" type="antscript"/>
    </postSourceCall>

    The audit XML should supply the properties and targets passed
    in. For example:

    <postSourceCall>
    <command name="bob.xml" retryCount="0" retryWait="0"
    successRC="0" type="antscript">
    <property name="myProperty" value="value"/>
    <target>myTarget</target>
    </postSourceCall>

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been altered to ensure that the audit message
    logged due to a call to an Ant script includes the properties
    and targets that Ant script was called with.
