If for any reason, you are not satisfied with an IBM Certified Pre-owned PC machine you acquire, you may return it to IBM Credit within seven (7) days after you receive delivery of the machine and obtain a full credit or refund. To qualify, send email to: USRAL7days@flextronics.com or call IBM Credit's Technical Support Hotline at 1-800-334-9693, option 1 then 2. Please provide: Your name, telephone number, email address, 6 digit order number, machine model and machine serial number.

Quality satisfaction guarantee

If you call after seven (7) days of delivery, but within the quality satisfaction guarantee time period designated on your order confirmation (either 3 months or 6 months, depending on the type of PC), or within the 1 year extended coverage beyond 3 or 6 months if you purchased an Extended Warranty Option, an equivalent machine selected by IBM Credit will be shipped in exchange for the original machine. Such replacements will be shipped after you have returned the original machine to IBM. All returns must include the original machine, its manuals, media and be sent to the location designated by IBM Credit. A copy of your shipping label must accompany all returned machines.

IBM Certified Pre-owned PC products undergo a stringent refurbishment process

For PCs:

• Data cleansing of hard drives
• Testing and verification of all parts

• Cleaning the equipment inside and out, so the product looks virtually new

For printers and monitors:

• Vigorous full function test
• Cleaning the equipment inside and out so the product looks virtually new

For IBM equipment that IBM installs or is designated as "customer set up" by IBM, and is either covered by a remaining IBM warranty or an IBM Maintenance Service contract, IBM Global Financing guarantees your complete satisfaction with the quality and the reliability of such unmodified equipment for three months from shipment or from the release date for pick-up. If you contact IBM Global Financing at 1-800-334-9693 within the applicable three month period and indicate that you wish to exercise this guarantee, IBM Global Financing will, at its sole option, either replace the equipment or refund the purchase price paid. Please retain a copy of your shipping label to establish proof of purchase.
