The IBM 7207 Model 330 30GB External SLR60 Tape Drive is a standalone external streaming tape drive for New pSeries and iSeries environments. It features:

Tape capacity of 30GB native (60GB with 2:1 compression)
Lower capacity 5GB option that is more economical for smaller save/restore tasks
Data transfer rates up to 4MB per second (8MB per second with 2:1 compression)
Internal self-test capability
Flexible read/write compatibility with certain other QIC formats

The IBM 7207 Model 330 is an enhanced capacity and performance replacement product for the IBM 7207 Model 122 tape drive. .
