IBM Certified Used Local Establishment Controllers
Machine Type 3174
The 3174 Local Establishment Controllers provide for workstation and host computer channel attachments through either a parallel channel or an escon channel. A base controller provides four ports and can be expanded to a maximum of 64 ports. The local controller can be either floor standing or rack mounted in an IBM 9309 rack. With appropriate features, supported devices include LAN-attached personal computers, 3270 terminals and printers and ASCII devices.
