Cisco Order Tool

IBM provides a web-based tool for purchasing Cisco products and services called Cisco Ordering Tool (COT). COT is hosted by IBM, password protected, and uses the configurator on cisco.com.

COT Features and Benefits

COT is a client-facing tool for pricing, ordering and account maintenance. It enables you to self-serve, reducing the time needed to configure, price and order Cisco LAN equipment, and related IBM Maintenance and services. Functions include:

• Calculate entitled prices for CISCO equipment and maintenance utilizing cisco.com configurations
• Order spare parts
• Save validated configurations for repeat ordering
• Maintain history of orders placed (date submitted to IBM, configuration detail, price)
• Create address book of ship-to and bill-to addresses
