Power Systems trade-in program

Trade-in multiple IBM, HP, Sun and Fujitsu models

An historic shift is underway of clients migrating from Sun and HP UNIX® systems to IBM Power Systems™. Businesses by the thousands have migrated their competitive UNIX systems to Power as clients realize the benefits of consolidating workloads that have been running on x86 servers onto Power Systems.

And now IBM is offering even greater incentive to migrate your competitive servers, or upgrade your older IBM models, to new IBM Power Systems, by offering trade-in credits worth up to $240,000

Simply acquire an eligible new IBM Power Systems server (Replacement Machine) and trade in one or more designated IBM and/or non-IBM systems (Replaced Machines), and you can receive a trade-in credit for each Replaced Machine you trade in.

This program is available only in the United States and its territories.

There is a maximum total trade-in credit amount per Replacement Machine that is dependent upon the configuration of the Replacement Machine.

The number of Replaced Machines that can be traded in per eligible new Replacement Machine is limited by the maximum trade-in credit amount of the Replacement Machine. Once the maximum trade-in credit amount has been reached, additional machines will not be accepted for trade-in.
