Our Extended Warranty Option (EWO) provides you with extra protection for your IBM Certified Used PC or monitor purchase. When you purchase EWO, you'll get one additional year of warranty coverage from IBM Credit. EWO commences on the first day following the 3 month Quality Satisfaction Guarantee.

EWO applies to one machine serial number. When purchasing multiple PCs, make sure you order the right number of EWOs. Orders received where EWO does not equal number of PCs ordered, a sales representative will contact you to verify. If you are ordering EWO for an IBM Certified Used PC that you already own and is still under original 3 month Quality Satisfaction Guarantee, provide the existing serial number in the"company field" on the checkout page. Eligibility will be verified. A sales representative will contact you if eligibility is denied.

To exercise the EWO, you must contact IBM's Technical Support Hotline at 1-800-334-9693. The same or an equivalent Machine selected by IBM Credit will be shipped in exchange for the original Machine. Such replacement will be shipped after you have returned the original Machine to us. All returns must include the original Machine, its manuals, media, and other associated documentation and be sent to the location designated by IBM Credit.

EWO is not applicable to new Lenovo PCs that are sold with 1 year warranty provided by Lenovo.
