The Systems Technical University will explore the capabilities of IBM System x, IBM Power Systems, IBM PureSystems and IBM Systems Storage in depth through many topical tracks.
Attendees should plan to arrive on either Monday, April 7th, during the day or on Tuesday, April 8th, early in the morning. Registration opens on Monday at 4 p.m.
The conference starts on Tuesday, April 8th, at 9 a.m. with the keynote session.
The sessions end on Friday, April 11th, at 1 p.m. followed by lunch until 2:30.

Torsten Kahrmann joined Intel in 2000 where he is currently Director of Data Center Sales for Multinational OEM customers in Europe, Middle East & Africa. Torsten held a variety of roles in Intel’s Online Services group, Intel Solution Services and Account Management position for several OEMs. Prior to joining Intel, Torsten worked for MKS Sofware in Canada and Maplesoft in Canada and Germany. Educated in the UK and Germany, Torsten holds business degrees and completed Executive Education programmes at Wharton Business school and INSEAD.
System and Technology Group Europe
A graduate of ENSAE (Supaéro), Nicolas Sekkaki began his career in IBM in 1990, with successful sales roles in industrial, government and insurance client sectors. Following an assignment in 1999 to IBM Corporate headquarters in the US, in September 2000 he then was appointed as the Director of Sales of zSeries Mainframe division for EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa), based in England. In 2002, he moved to the role of Vice-President of the division "System Sales" (Servers and Storage) for France and became a member of the Executive Committee of IBM France. He was appointed General Manager in 2007 in charge of IBM Global Technology Services, France. In 2010 he became CEO and corporate officer of SAP France. Since January 2013, Mr. Sekkaki is Vice President of System and Technology Group Europe for IBM.

Louise Hemond-Wilson is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Technology Officer for Lab Services and Technical Training. Louise has over 30 years of IT experience with applied skills in executive and IT consulting, competitive analysis, product marketing, product management, technical support, sales management and product development. Her executive consulting experience includes advising clients in numerous industries worldwide and is built on a foundation of experience in the banking and higher education industries prior to joining IBM. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Michigan State University and a Masters in Theology from Loyola University.
