This technical report details IBM Scale Out Network Attached Storage (IBM SONAS) interoperability, support, use-case scenarios and guidelines for using it with VMware Infrastructure and vSphere ESX Server. When SONAS is used in conjunction with these virtualization products, it provides an optimized IT infrastructure with high scalability, availability, and utilization.
