Abstract
This paper explores the use of the IBM Scale Out Network Attached Storage (IBM SONAS) storage product as an essential component of an advanced Oracle infrastructure solution. It shows a practical implementation of a high-availability solution for Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC) databases; Oracle 11gR2 RAC on (RHEL) 5.4 through (NAS) services using (NFS) or Oracle (Direct NFS)
