Authenware Behavior Biometrics Tap Technology

Tab navigation

AuthenWare is focused on helping organizations increase revenue by enabling them to conduct more business online by protecting their users and transactions from Hackers conducting online theft and fraud, the world’s fastest growing crimes. We deliver a leading-edge software framework built around Behavioral Biometrics for strong multifactor authentication of online Users – and as an enabler for “No More Passwords”.

In addition, we provide applications that utilize the Framework: Secure Single-Sign-On, e-Banking authentication, Google Apps authentication, Card Not Present authentication, ATM/POS authentication, Token Replacement, and many other online applications. These solutions are built as multifactor authentication systems centered around two main types of natural, behavioral authentication factors:

• Keystroke Dynamics – Authentication based on how a user types in their credentials.

• Tune Tapping – Authentication based on how a user taps in their tune.

In conjunction with either of these, we employ other factors: Other Behavioral factors, Situational factors, OTP’s, Pin, Passphrase, and can incorporate third party factors such as physical biometrics, etc. - all resulting in a highly reliable, accurate, natural, friendly, scalable, configurable, economical multifactor authentication environment.

  • + Functional details

The solution has been designed with open architecture and standards to enable easy integration with existing customer systems and applications.

The goal of the solution is to provide a "Yes" or "No" answer in response to how a user types in their credentials or taps in their tune which compares their keystroke data with the keystroke pattern on record.  Only the encrypted keystroke and device data are transmitted - no personal user information.  This can be done in the cloud or behind a customer's firewall.

This can be accomplished after a user's credentials have been verified by the LDAP AD server or afterwards.

    • No privacy issues (Biometrics identifies user who may not want to be identified)
    • Non-intrusive

    Advantages Over Tokens

    • Identifies valid user (tokens only authenticate a device)
    • Nothing physical to carry
    • Nothing to transpose
    • Lower TCO
    • Fewer Help Desk calls / costs
