JKassa is a dialog-based application for the processing of counter/teller transactions in banks. The application enables banks to process transactions (cash, cashless and check) relating to savings, current accounts, foreign notes and coins, coins/medals/bars, and foreign exchange. In case of an online connection to the core banking system, the transactions will be immediately posted. If the system is offline, most transactions can also be completed (and stored) decentrally and transferred (forwarded) to the core banking system at a later stage (post-booking). Several business transactions and functions such as various lists and queries provide optimal support for the employees at the teller. The program also offers additional functions for the direct control of automatic teller safes (cash dispensers/recyclers) for payments or deposits. Interfaces to signature verification systems and assisted self-service systems offer further functionality for the teller.
