The CA CMDB Connector for z/OS® is an extension of CA CMDB Solution which helps you manage a full range of tasks associated with change, incident/problem and other IT Service Management disciplines. By adding the CA CMDB Connector for z/OS to the CA CMDB, you will be able to view mainframe Configuration Items (CIs), their relationships with other mainframe and distributed resources, and enable them to be placed into your CA CMDB repository. CA CMDB Connector for z/OS thus helps to provide you with a comprehensive and accurate view of your infrastructure. CA CMDB Connector for z/OS also features an intuitive Web-based interface and simple operations that not require a CMDB or mainframe expert to initiates discoveries of CIs.

CA CMDB Connector for z/OS is designed to discover (or rediscover) mainframe CIs for inclusion into an organization’s IT services, thereby providing a more complete and accurate picture of dependencies within the infrastructure. CI discovery is simple and flexible. It reduces complexity by helping you manage sophisticated environments without extensive training or knowledge.
