As an adjunct to the AdminP process, Essential Tools collects enterprise-wide information on Domino databases, users, and ACL's. Information collected is presented in a single centralized Domino database for ease of analysis. Changes are document driven leaving an audit trail while the change author is keep apprised of the change process. Routine as well as complex Domino administration tasks such as ACL enforcement and mail moves are accomplished with creation of a simple point and click form. Use profile documents to delegate the appropriate authority to other Domino administrators. Since Essential Tools is a group of Domino databases, process can be managed with any Notes client and tasks scheduled at a convenient time.

    Essential Tools is a group of Domino databases installed on a Domino server. Client replica can drive the process. Essential Tools uses two main add-in servers tasks in combination with replication to collect information and implement changes. Essential Tools works with Windows, IBM AS/400®, IBM AIX®, and Sun Solaris servers, R4.6, R5, ND6 and ND7.
