  • + Functional details

A business that sells products or provides a service can accept payment by credit card, debit card or check immediately from their order entry or POS (point of sale) application. This is accomplished by sending the payment information, for example, credit card number, expiration date and amount to PAYware Transact, which then formats and sends the transaction to a payment processor.

The payment processor sends it on to the issuing bank for approval of the credit card transaction. The response is returned to the user application indicating if the credit card transaction is approved. Subsequently, the sale can be completed via settlement of the transaction, which results in payment to the merchant.

  • + Business problem

    • Delayed payment due to time to deliver invoice and receive payment.
    • Lost sales due to nonpayment.
    • Loss of revenue due to nonpayment for shipped goods.

  • + Business opportunity

Many ERP, direct marketing and eCommerce applications generate an invoice to the buyer for payment of goods and services. This is costly, delays payment by several days to weeks, and often results in nonpayment and lost sales. With PAYware Transact, the merchant can be paid immediately by credit card or check. This results in better cash inflow and reduced loss of sales.

  • + Return on investment

    • Get paid faster compared to sending an invoice and waiting for payment by check.
    • Reduce loss of sales and revenue due to nonpayment.
    • Allows shipping order sooner.
    • Makes it easier for your customers to do business with you, resulting in additional business.

  • + Competitive advantage

    • Supports many business environments.
    • Merchant has a wide choice of payment processors and connection options.
    • Designed to qualify for the best interchange rates.
    • Enabled for any operating system that supports Java.
    • Works with most JDBC enabled databases.
    • Designed to reduce fraud.
  • PAYware Transact has been certified by an independent auditor to be PCI compliant. This means that PAYware Transact protects sensitive credit card information, thus allowing merchants to secure their customers' credit card data from unauthorized access.
