RetailAction KPI Activator takes key sales and operations metrics in real time, examines them for exceptions and activates your retail organization to take effective steps. The program examines key metrics for all stores, including sales by store, department, and sub-department and issues alerts when tolerance levels fall out of bounds. When problems and opportunities are identified, RetailAction KPI Activator can issue alerts that automatically kick off tasks based on best practices.

The solution enables a retailer to monitor compliance levels related to safety, health and other regulations, plus product recalls. When RetailAction KPI Activator senses that the time to respond is now, it pushes the right tasks to the right people, along with everything they need to do the job correctly. Best practices embedded in the system enable a retailer to institutionalize operations excellence. RetailAction KPI Activator’s support for completion surveys allow HQ to collect feedback from employees as they complete their work, allowing 2-way feedback in real time for continuous improvement. Information collated provides real-time visibility into planning effectiveness.

The RetailAction suite has successfully completed validation on the IBM® Store Integration Framework, the IBM® Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE), operating environment and architecture built using IBM® middleware. Support for standard integration means tasks generated by external platforms can be managed through a common process.
