Solution web page: |
With VisualConnect, you can quickly and easily convert cumbersome and complex 3270 or 5250 screens into graphically intuitive Web front-ends, without any programming. VisualConnect lets you skip unwanted screens, merge data and fields into new simplified screens, enhancing and rejuvenating your 3270 and 5250 based applications. You'll improve usability, reduce training requirements, increase user satisfaction and increase productivity. To further enhance presentation of your applications, you can also add multi-media. VisualConnect helps you update your legacy IBM® applications, creating Internet and intranet applications within hours, not months or years.
VisualConnect provides a powerful means to extend and enhance the usability and functionality of your legacy-based applications. Whether you are providing a simplified user interface for internal legacy applications or you are enhancing existing applications to be accessed over the web by customers and partners, VisualConnect is the solution.
For more advanced extension and integration requirements, the VisualConnect JAVA interface provides additional capabilities to extend and modify web-enabled 3270 applications.
In addition, from the same installation of VisualConnect you have the flexibility to generate Java applets, pure HTML or WML depending on your end user requirements. There is no need to buy and implement different Web-enablement solutions to meet your end-user device requirements.
