Good monitoring capabilities are essential for any application server. Surya Duggirala and Bhushan Lokhande will describe the Performance Monitoring tools that are available in WebSphere Application Server and also discuss the advanced techniques used to diagnose any performance issues at production time.
July 20, 2006: z/OS Communications Server IP CICS Sockets - Common User Problems Brenda Kerr and Howie Odishoo will discuss common user problems when using z/OS Communications Server IP CICS Sockets. They also will discuss the SOCKAPI trace that is available for user problem determination as well as documentation that should be gathered for IBM Support if a product defect is suspected.
July 27, 2006: Debugging Storage Violations in CICS Storage violations can be quite frustrating. Knowing what documentation to gather and what to do with the documentation is half the battle. In this session, Scott McClure will cover diagnostic approaches to debug storage violations within CICS.
