Welcome, Computer Science teachers!
Every year, hundreds of high school students participate in programming contests hosted by high schools and post-secondary institutions. Not only do they get the opportunity to test their skills in a competition, but it also enables them to gain an edge towards scholarship and post-secondary applications.
The goal of IBM Programming Contest Central is to promote Computer Science and Information Technology opportunities to high school students. We encourage high school students, high schools and post-secondary institutions to use the resources provided in order to host their own programming contests. We also want to build a community of high school Computer Science teachers by providing the chance to network and share resources with each other.
Here, you can learn about running programming contests, connecting with competitions at schools near you, and other useful bits and bytes. In order to access the teacher's forum, where you can discuss programming problems and contest preparation techniques with other Computer Science teachers, you must be an IBM Academic Initiative member.
There is no-charge to join and membership also entitles you access to software, courseware, training and more. Join now!
