Service Science is a broad area of study. Many tools exist that help with certain aspects of services. Here are a few tools that can help you to use web services, model your business and collaborate effectively.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is the building block for software-related services and for helping to understand and manage business components. Built on open standards, SOA is an architectural approach for integrating and linking repeatable business tasks or services. WebSphere Business Modeler helps businesses fully understand and document their various business processes. Lotus Mobile Connect helps institutions provide a private virtual network (VPN) for their communication needs. The VPN encrypts data over wireless and wired network connections and the software extends existing instant messaging and other applications to mobile devices.
