Worldwide System z educator enrollment process

Follow this procedure to enroll:

1. Click on one of the following courses to review available locations and dates. Select the course title (in the applicable country), then select View Schedule.
• Fundamental System Skills in z/OS (Course code ES10)
• Integrating z/OS Security into the Enterprise (Course code ES66)
• DB2 UDB for z/OS V8 Database Administration Workshop 1 (Course code CF831)
• DB2 UDB for z/OS V8 Database Administration Workshop 2 (Course code CF841)
2. Educator coupons are subject to certain terms and conditions. Review these terms and conditions prior to requesting an educator coupon.
3. To request an educator coupon, send an e-mail with WW Educator coupon request on the subject line to zskills@us.ibm.com. Include the following information in the body of the e-mail:
   • Educator name:
   • Educator e-mail:
   • Mailing address where the hardcopy educator coupon should be sent:
   • Telephone number:
   • School name:
   • IBM course name:
   • IBM country course code:
   • IBM course date:
   • IBM course location:
4. You will receive a note from the Academic Initiative team with further enrollment instructions.

The availability of the System z educator coupons are subject to the following terms and conditions:

• Coupon may only be redeemed by the requesting active member of the IBM Academic Initiative program.
• Coupon is valid for public classes starting on or before December 31, 2007.
• One coupon is redeemable for one course.
• The System z coupon is valid ONLY for the designated course listed on the coupon.
• The coupon is not valid if the coupon is reproduced.
• Not Valid with any other coupon, discount or offer.
• These courses may not be available in all geographies.
• Maximum Value: 100% Discount
• The coupon will be sent once the class has been confirmed.
• IBM is not responsible for providing replacement education coupons.
• YOU MUST BRING YOUR COUPON TO CLASS AND TURN IT INTO YOUR INSTRUCTOR AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FIRST DAY OF YOUR CLASS OR CONFERENCE. This is the ONLY way you can be assured you will receive your class for free. If you turn in your coupon on the first day of the class, you will not receive a bill for the class.
• IBM Training reserves the right to cancel any course 10 business days out from the Monday of the week the course is running. Each student is responsible for any costs which may be incurred due to lack of available classes or class cancellations, or his or her inability to attend a scheduled class. Therefore, it is highly recommended that only reimbursable travel arrangements be made or arrangements not be made until class confirmation has been received.
