Promoting the advancement of PLM innovation at universities
IBM and Dassault Systèmes, in support of accelerating innovation, donated a full suite of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions to Purdue University and are moving forward with establishing similar relationships with other universities. The Centers of Excellence at these universities will enable PLM education and research, as well as in-house demonstration facilities to advance PLM collaboration. Students are working with corporations in the aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer products, manufacturing and healthcare industries to solve complex product development and lifecycle management issues - such as design automation, grid computing and supply chain management.
Dedicated to advanced research and collaboration
IBM is committed to working with leading educational institutions to advance research, accelerate innovation and prepare our future leaders to integrate PLM as a business strategy. Significant changes in the business world are requiring companies to streamline development, respond with flexibility and meet customer demands more quickly. And collaborative tools, such as CATIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM are preparing future generations to accelerate communication, knowledge sharing and business opportunity.
