businesses the flexibility to innovate for success. IBM is proud to work within this community, to nurture Linux

Research projects
By partnering with universities, IBM offers Academic Initiative members with the opportunity to gain access to Linux hubs around the world. These hubs, located on university campuses in the United States and United Kingdom, are available for Linux projects and for teaching. The Linux
University Hub at Colorado State University is now accepting project proposals from any IBM Academic Initiative member university who would like to have access to an IBM eServer zSeries hub to work on a Linux project. This is a partnership with IBM and Colorado State University to
provide virtual Linux instances to universities in the program who would like to explore Linux. Review the information package for more information.
