The IBM Academic Initiative hosts an annual
Summer School
event for instructors. Each summer this very popular event features topics for those new to IBM i platform,
as well as for those with more IBM i experience.
Summer School
courses combine classroom sessions with intensive hands-on labs, which are taught by IBM and industry experts.
The event is free to the instructors; travel and lodging are the responsibility of the institution. |

Earning an IBM Professional Certification validates your skills and demonstrates proficiency
in the latest IBM technology and solutions. It can help students build a resume that will differentiate them in
the marketplace when seeking their first professional jobs.
Faculty members and students are eligible for
discounts on IBM Certification
tests. For purposes of getting started with certification, we recommend starting with the basic topics.
Most of our IBM Certification tests have assessment tests which are a great diagnostic tool for educators
and students to use as part of their test preparation to determine exam readiness. Check out the detailed Test
Preparation section for each certification exam. |
